Columbia University Medical Center - College of Physicians & Surgeons DAVID TA-KENG HUANG MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Though he was only 24 years old when he passed away, David Ta-Keng Huang lived more in those few years than most live in a lifetime. David excelled in all aspects of life: from academia to athletics, from music to literature. He was the very definition of a well rounded individual. Yet despite David’s success, he frequently and consistently gave back to the community in which he lived. With this in mind, we are proud to offer the David Ta-Keng Huang Memorial Scholarship.

Eligibility Requirements
- High School Senior
- Hispanic (preference given to students residing in the Washington Heights Community)
- Plan to enroll in a four year or Community College
- Commitment to community service
- Scholastic Achievement (“B” Average)
